PEP's monitoring centre carries out all types of personalized documentary services: state-of-the-art reports, publishing newsletters, setting up monitoring, etc.

The team at the documentation centre has experience in plastics engineering and information research, giving it the essential internet tools and databases required to meet its clients' needs.

The company AD Majoris, a compounding specialist, entrusted PEP's technological watch centre with the task of producing a state-of-the-art report on one of the business' strategic issues.

The methodology used by our teams was first to clearly define the information requirements. This fundamental 'formalising the requirement' stage is the key element of any information research process.

In the case of the service carried out for AD Majoris, this stage was done after several exchanges of communication, and definitive validation of search strategies for different monitoring tools.  All of the information from different tools that was validated by our teams could therefore be integrated into the state-of-the-art report.

The work carried out for AD Majoris highlighted technological innovations and obstacles relevant to the issue raised, thus enabling the client to position in relation to other major players in the field. 

This state-of-the-art report helped strategic decision making and provided the business with a bespoke study that met its needs and expectations.
