PEP's comprehensive and combined range of facilities and expertise (research, testing, analysis, transfer, etc.) offers its clients support for developing their complex high added-value plastic products (via functional integration, using high-performance materials, providing innovative injection technology, etc.)

Respecting confidentiality, PEP intervenes:

• either in a comprehensive development project: from pilot feasibility study to product industrialization
• or in response to specific requests from its clients: design optimization, rheological research and thermal optimization, materials research and substitution, testing and MAP tooling, producing pilot series, validating specifications, etc.

As a specific form of partnership, PEP also intervenes as a product co-designer.

PEP integrates ecodesign principles into its developments, especially by:

• substituting materials with eco-polymers
• optimizing design by reducing thickness
• optimizing cycle times
• substituting metal with plastic to make components lighter

Setting up processes to reduce a product's environmental impact, while also keeping its functional quality is part of all project management carried out by PEP, in partnership with the Plastic Ecodesign Center and the Matériautech .
