Mould Testing

PEP's testing platform provides you with an expert tooling-validation centre and polymer transformation techniques, in a setting that combines industrial equipment (a pool of 10 injection presses and peripheral equipment), innovative technology and injection experts. 

PEP guarantees the confidentiality of its work, providing all professionals working in the industry (mould makers, customisers, materials manufacturers, ordering parties, etc.) with the following services:

• testing, developing and optimizing injection tools, right up to producing pilot series 
• testing and validating thermoplastics
• expertise in faulty moulds

PEP's testing centre is a showcase for innovative injection technology (hot-cold, conformal cooling, induction, fluid-assisted injection, multi-materials, etc.), promoting and transferring this technology to industrialists working in plastics engineering.

PEP works in partnership with CETIM (Centre Technique des Industries Mécaniques) and enjoys financial backing from the public authorities (the French state, the Rhône-Alpes region and the EU), providing mould makers with a technology innovation platform, PLATINNO. This gives them access to facilities, expertise and financing. The goal of this resource pooling is to make mould makers more competitive by giving them access to new technology and R&D programmes.
